Where to Watch the Ravens and Redskins

Both local teams have opening-round playoff games Sunday. Here's where to watch in west Anne Arundel County.

Local sports fans have been pretty spoiled in recent months. After the Nationals and Orioles each made the baseball playoffs last fall, the Redskins and Ravens have followed with postseason berths of their own.  We are right in the middle of Ravens and Redskins country, and thankfully there is no shortage of places to watch the games. The Ravens will play Sunday at 1 p.m. against the Indianapolis Colts, in what may be Ray Lewis' final game. The surging Redskins will take on the Seattle Seahawks at 4:30 p.m. In theory, you could park yourself at a local joint and watch football all afternoon. (But do the owners a favor and actually order some food while you're there.) Here's a look at some local places with great environments to watch …

Fat Boys Crab Shack is a good place as well. It can get a little cozy during the games as the place is smaller than most. But they have great food and drink specials. Most of the staff are 'Skins and Ravens fans and the 'skins fans certainly know the lyrics to their fight song. GO RAVENS!!!!...and 'skin too :)   more ›
