South River Volleyball Falls to Severna Park in Regional Semis

The Severna Park volleyball team defeated the Seahawks in four sets.

South River's volleyball team ended its run for a state championship Wednesday night as they fell to Severna Park High in four sets.  The Seahawks volleyball team defeated Severna Park in four sets during the regular season, but the tables turned on them Wednesday night as the they lost to the Falcons, ending their run towards a state title. Falling in four sets—25-17, 24-26, 25-18, 25-18—South River couldn't overcome some big rallies by the Falcons in the third and fourth sets.
