NFL Buzz High for Former Arundel Wideout

Updated: (Friday, 5:55 p.m.)—When Arundel High football fans saw Alec Lemon play, they often commented that they were seeing a potential NFL wide receiver in action. Four years after setting records at Arundel, Lemon is now a top NFL prospect after a successful run at Syracuse. NFLDraftZone reported Friday that he has received an invite to the NFL combine. Lemon set a Syracuse record with 70 receptions in 2012 and has 2,589 receiving yards in his career, the second-most in school history. He is considered one of the best wide receivers exiting college, with many prognosticators suggesting he'll be a late-round pick in the NFL Draft.
