County to Review Two Rivers Special Exception

Builders of the proposed Two Rivers project have sought to lift an age-restriction on homes in the development.

Anne Arundel County will hold an administrative hearing Thursday to discuss the proposed Two Rivers project at the south end of Odenton.

According to a county meeting notice, the hearing will discuss a request for a modification to a previously approved special exception.

Two Rivers is a proposed development of more than 2,000 homes to the south and west of Patuxent Road.

Currently, covenants with the Forks of the Patuxent Improvement Association call for the project to consist of homes for residents 55 years or older. The developer, Koch Homes, sought to have the age restriction lifted, but FOTPIA voted them down last year.

Thursday's hearing will take place at 10:30 a.m. at the Arundel Center, 44 Calvert Rd., Annapolis.
