What I eat for Bikini Season

What I eat for Bikini Season

Happy Monday!  Hope you had an amazing weekend and are ready to start the week off strong and healthy. So to recap last post we talked about healthy breakfasts and the importance of eating breakfast. Today we are going to go over the rest of the days worth of eating. I will give you an idea of what I eat. My meals are larger than the norm due to my goal of Bikini Competing in August at the NPC Maryland...later on that in  another post. But the food would be the same if you are looking to expose that inner sexy Bikini body that is waiting to see the light underneath those pesky unwanted, daunting pounds.

Here it goes....I eat anywhere from 5 to 6 meals a day and I recommend the same. These are not full out big meals but snacks, some larger than others. Last post we went over meal #1 yummy Protein pancakes my ultimate favorite meal of the day. :)

Meal #2 A good quality protein shake is the quickest and the easiest way to get in 25 to 50 grams of protein not to mention there are some amazing powders out there that taste like chocolate cake brownies...beware though there are some nasty cardboard tasting ones too. If you have questions please feel free to email me and I can give ya the 411 on what ones I like and recommend.

Meal#3 Some form of lean protein. I am eating 8oz of chicken tenders, sauteed with olive oil and sea salt with pepper...simple and easy. My sides are either salad greens, or I personally am on this green bean kick...no clue why but I could have them growing out of my ears I eat so many. Munching on them now. hehe I also have 1/2 cup of brown rice with my meal. Lunch DONE! You can sub really any veggies or healthy grains would work just fine.

Meal#4 Another yummy shake and maybe a handful of almonds. Need some healthy fats in the diet :) or piece of fruit. I personally stay away from bananas because of the sugar but if you eat them on the green side that helps.

Meal #5 Same as meal #4 I know it sounds boring but you actually feel amazing when you eat balanced, clean eating foods. I make this exciting by Grilling everything with different rubs and marinades. This keeps things interesting. You just have to be creative. So some of my favorites are Grill Mates, I also love Goya Chipotle Marinate with chicken. FYI if anyone can find this please clue me in. I used my bottle up and cannot seem to find it anywhere. Figures you find something you like and Wow they seem to not carry it anymore. UGH! Big surprise! I also make alot of Fajitas on the grill with Flank Steak, and Chicken with peppers and onions...heaven. For dessert I love grilled pineapple...this is one you have to try...its amazing.

Other things to include: fruits and plenty of veggies. If your hungry between meals these are the things to grab. And remember please never go to bed hungry...this puts your body in a not so happy place. You do not want to be breaking down muscle when you sleep do you? NO so if you are hungry more veggies please or even better egg white with ketchup lol gross right..I actually like it. Check the ketchup label though, say No to HFCS some of the organic ketchup's taste really good. Or heck just dump some chipotle hot sauce on it lol that is the way to spice things up.

Don't be afraid to experiment and try new things. You just never know.:) This goes for your meals but also in life. You just might not know what your missing.

Thanks for reading my blog. Remember if you have questions don't be afraid to ask.
